Welcome to PS Photographic Services website. We have had the site redesigned for maximum accessability. In particular for visually impaired screen reader users, low vision users and for people with some degree of colour blindness.

We hope you will be able to access all areas of the site but would welcome feedback on any areas you find inaccessible or that are particularly easy to access.

We provide a premium quality photo restoration service which includes a range of services from colour correction to restoration of images which have severe physical damage, for example, the original print is in several pieces, has several deep creases, or some areas of the image are completely missing. Also badly faded colour other marks and blemishes including damage to more detailed areas such as faces, detail in clothing, hands etc. can be corrected.

Repairs

of Dirt, spots, scratches and creases can be removed and even missing areas of the photograph can often be replaced.

We use the latest digital imaging software to restore your photographs without changing or causing any damage to the original.

Colorization

Colorization is one of PS Photographic Services most popular services. Black and white images can be tinted with colour to give a lovely effect.

We can take your black and white, sepia or even colour prints and slides and colorize them with beautiful tints as this image shows. This gives a subtle period feel to the photograph. We can also colorize with vibrant colour to inject energy and new life into the image.

Fading and Discolouring

Due to age Photos fade and lose their colour.

This can be restored, bringing old photos back to life.

Combining Images

Two or more images can be Combined into one composite picture.

Adding and removing objects from an image, like the picture of Albert Dock, Liverpool, above, is one of the more frequent requests we receive at PS Photographic Services. We are often asked to add people to and image, especially family photos where a family member has taken the photo and is therefore not in the picture.

The customer wanted these removed and hi-resolution image placed on a CD for them to send to their publishers to use for advertising purposes.

Parts of the image can be removed and backgrounds can be altered or replaced.
